If your skin feels greasy just a few hours after cleansing, you're not alone!
Finding the perfect skincare routine for oily skin is the key to keeping your skin balanced and healthy.
Here’s everything you need to know about caring for oily skin without compromising its natural glow.
Step-by-Step Guide to the Best Skin Care Routine for Oily Skin
1. CLEANSING
Product used: Green Tea Pore Cleansing Face Wash

Pro-tips: Use a cleanser before washing your face if you have makeup on. It's a good idea to use facewashes with scrubs in them, but try to alternate with a plain face wash too. Never, ever use soap on your face. For the best oily skin care routine, remember to choose products that are specifically formulated for oily skin.
Instructions for oily skin routine:
1. Wet your face with water.
2. Squeeze out a coin-sized amount of face wash on your palm.
3. Gently rub on your face, for a few seconds, slightly squeezing cellulose scrub beads.
4. Gently rinse away with water and pat dry with soft towel.
5. Now your face is ready for Green Tea Alcohol Free Toner.
Usage timing and frequency
Use it twice (or thrice) a day, in the morning and before going to bed.
2. TONING
Product used: Green Tea Alcohol-Free Toner

Pro-tips: Choose the right toner for your skin, mild and alcohol-free is ideal. Check out the suggested posts for more info on toners.
Instructions for oily skin care regimen:
1. Pour out a little quantity on your palm and apply it on your face. Alternatively moisten a cotton ball with the Alcohol-Free Toner, and dab it softly in small circles across your face
2. Give special attention to T-Zone, forehead, nose and chin areas.
3. Let the toner air dry, don't hurry to wipe it off.
4. Now your face is toned and freshened up for the next step: moisturizing.
Usage timing and frequency
Use twice (or thrice) a day, in the morning and before going to bed, post cleansing.
3. MOISTURIZATION
Product used: Green Tea Mattifying Moisturizer

Pro-tips: Choose a light, oil-free, or non-comedogenic moisturizer for oily skin care regimen. Mild and natural is the way to go, brownie points if it comes with SPF( see Protection).
Instructions:
1. Squeeze out a tiny amount on your palm.
2. Dot your face with the moisturizer. One dot each on forehead, both cheeks, nose and chin. That’s 5 dots totally.
3. Now gently massage it into skin using finger-tips.
Usage timing and frequency
Use twice (or thrice) a day - in the morning and before going to bed for hydrated soft shine oil-free matte skin.
This step is a vital part of an oily skin routine, ensuring hydration without excess oil production. By incorporating this into your skin care regimen for oily skin, you help maintain a balanced and fresh complexion.
4. PROTECTION
Pro-tip: If you protect your skin from tanning and damage, you'll never have to do crazy things for the sake of fairness!
Always protect your skin from the harshness of the sun and its UV rays. Use a good sunscreen before stepping out, or use a moisturizer which already has decent SPF protection( SPF 30 is considered basic)
Ensuring proper sun protection is an essential aspect of any skin regimen for oily skin, preventing premature aging and excessive oil buildup caused by sun exposure.
5. Weekly deep - cleaning & gentle exfoliation
Product used: Green Tea Clear Face Mask

1. Gently apply a thin layer over all areas of the face, avoid eyes and lips area.
2. Wait for about 30 minutes or until the mask dries completely, keeping your face as still as possible.
3. Wash off with plain water.
4. Do not scrub face with towel, gently pat dry.
5. Gently hydrate your skin with Green Tea Mattifying Moisturizer to seal in the goodness ingredients.
Usage timing and frequency
Use it once or twice a week – not more. Too much exfoliation is also not good. Don't apply it on bruised skin.
Regular deep-cleaning plays a crucial role in your oily skin care regimen, helping to clear out impurities and prevent breakouts. By sticking to a dedicated oily skin care routine, your skin remains refreshed and radiant.
6. BONUS: NIGHT CREAM/NIGHT GEL

I have used the plum products, I have an oily skin after using the face wash. I got more acnes and my skin looks more oily. So I stopped using face wash.
After one week my skin is now normal. But no doubt plum toner and moisturizer are too good.

Hi Shambhavi.. The best home remedy to get did of pimples is to fry jeera in a pan.. Fry till it almost turns black… Powder it. When you feel there is a pimple going to appear, take a small quantity of the powder, make a thick paste with water and apply it on the pimple and the surrounding area.. Repeat this 2 to 3 times a day and you will definitely find changes… Keep me posted once you try
